The duckiest Valentine's show on earth is back in 2012! Ducky Bono is performing on the Side Stage, singing "Wild Thing." On the Main Stage you will find "The Unforgettables" (Ducky Sinatra and Ms. Ducky Love) singing Nat King Cole's "Unforgettable" with the assistance of Ms. Ducky Eva and Mr. Ducky Rose. The West Seattle Ducky Reserve keeps overflowing with love! ![]()
The "Unforgettables" video can be viewed below. When viewing, click on the 480p option for a higher quality video.
New Year's this year at the West Seattle Ducky Reserve was low key. The usual New Year's Ducks stayed warm and did not arrive this year. However, the Christmas Duckies were still celebrating. Santa Ducky and his son, J Duck, entertained with the tune "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and their best friend, Snow Duck, quacked his version of "Deck the Halls." On the side stages Ducky Storyteller recited the whole poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas," Ducky Downhill sang a catchy tune about winter fun, and Santa was taking a bath with the Lulu Duckies while singing "Splish Splash"! ![]() The Main Stage at the West Seattle Ducky Reserve

We have created so many Ducky Holidays! Christmas Cards that I have lost count. Check out our brief previews at our cards page, but please visit our Zazzle Greeting Card Shop to view and purchase our Holiday Greeting Cards. Two Holiday Season stamps are also available.
The Lulu Duckies stood in solidarity with turkeys and in peace with all those who celebrated the first Thanksgiving. And, they Duckupied Seattle! Ducky Stan was so upset with how the Occupy Seattle protestors were treated that he bypassed his regular show at the West Seattle Ducky Reserve to show his support for the 99%. However, you can view his video from last by clicking here. The video uses "Love to Eat Turkey," sung by Adam Sandler. I used "G" rated excerpts from the song -- there are two "R" phrases in the original song.
The Halloween Lulu Duckies you have grown to love migrated back this last Halloween! Ducky J sang "Thriller." Ducky Dracula sang "Monster Mash." The Ducky Spiders of the Caribbean danced on the chimney wall! Not to mention all the Bat Duckies that were flying through the garden! Holy Halloween, Bat Duckies!
The Lulu Duckies of the West Seattle Ducky Reserve got all ducked up for July 4, 2011, and they had a blast! Getting "ducked up" is the process of having a huge amount of fun without getting, you know.... well, this is "G" rated, so I can't say it. But you know.
"To be ducked up": Getting high on life, its gifts of wonder, irony, mystery and fun without the so-called "aid" of alcohol or drugs -- in other words, "a natural high." Ducky Diane is still singing "God Bless America" and the peace signs are still blooming all over the garden.
The Lulu Duckies of West Seattle memorialized all veterans on Memorial Day 2011.
Our hats are off and our hearts are with all those who have served or are serving in the United States armed forces.
Ducky Wayne sang "Proud to be an American." He was joined by the Berlin Express Group and Ducky Taps (who plays Taps) and a number of his veteran and non-veteran friends.
The video of Ducky Wayne is below.
Below is our Memorial Day Ducky video.
Los Duckies de Cinco de Mayo 2011 featured Ducky Matador and all his ducky friends on the side stage at the West Seattle Ducky Reserve.
Ducky La Bamba was an absolute hit and wore himself out singing, of course, La Bamba! You can view his performance below.
In case you are wondering what the lyrics to La Bamba really mean, let me say this -- the first few lines of La Bamba say "In order to dance the Bamba, a little humor is needed." The full translation and history of the song can be found in our Ducky La Bamba Cinco de Mayo video! (below)

To celebrate Easter, all the Duckies Rule! clan got decked out in rabbit ears and cottontails! Duckette Cottontail was joined by Ducky Cottontail on the main stage at West Seattle Ducky Reserve on Beach Drive SW, Seattle, WA. If you don't know who Ducky Cottontail is, check the video below. They will be entertaining right up to Memorial Day Weekend! All the Easter Duckies have been joined by their Pato Loco Cinco de Mayo Amigos (Crazy Cinco de Mayo duck friends) who are singing and dancing on the side stage. Ole!
For all those "hipster" ducky fans, here he is, the Rapmaster of Quack!
The Duck O' The Irish (Ducky Boyne) set a record for making people smile on Beach Drive SW, Seattle, WA. He was joined by dozens of Ducky Dancers and Leprechauns and their Good Luck Froggie Friends! Below is a video of Ducky Boyne from his 2010 performance. We will post a video of the 2011 Duck O' The Irish soon! The second video is longer and shows details of the 2009 St. Patrick's Day Ducky Garden. Get better quality video by clicking on the "1080p" button.

The song, you know it, that we live by on this page is "Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you, if you're young at heart." If you have made it to this page, you are likely one of those "young at heart" people!

Even though Kwanzaa has reportedly become less celebrated during the last "oh-oh" decade, this 1964 high-school graduate still honors its principles and its creative existence. At a minimum, it symbolizes the quest for equality, which, in my ducky world, still counts. Hope you had a very Happy Kwanzaa!
The Lulu Duckies splished and splashed the summer away at the World's First Ducky Water Park at the West Seattle Ducky Reserve. Ducky Dave, the lifeguard, sang "Splish Splash" and won rave reviews. The surf duckies showed their stuff on the surf slide!
Bongo Ducky and Ducky Dave got rave reviews!
The Little Mermaid (Ariel) showed up to blow bubbles, to everyone's delight!
The Ducky Water Park will be back next year! You can count on it!
The West Seattle Blog ran a very nice article in October 2008 reviewing the history of the "semi-official," West Seattle Ducky Garden within which all the Lulu Ducky characters found in the Duckies Rule! Kingdom have worked and entertained in the last four years. Check the West Seattle Blog article at For a West Seattle entrepeneur, everything's just ducky, by Brittni Reinertsen, posted October 12, 2008. And, they did it again! Thank you for posting our YouTube "Ducky Holidays!" video on December 24, 2008. We have posted a video called The 2009 Ducky Bono Love Tour which you can view here below Go to Our YouTube Page. Ducky Valentine's! Check the Seattle Magazine Blog article at West Seattle Man Sells Ducky Paraphernalia, posted October 29, 2008, by Sally Chamberlain.
Yes, this site is dedicated to rubber duckies, but not just your regular rubber duckies. You will find rubber duckies decked out in everything from holiday attire to surfer stylings. These Lulu Duckies (tm) are for "kids" of all ages, and are guaranteed to keep you smiling all year long. That's why they rule!
We specialize in calendars, greeting cards, and clothes. More greeting cards, calendars, clothes, and other products will be frequently added to the Duckies Rule! Kingdom. Bookmark us and return often to view our frequent updates and new products.
The images utilized in all our ducky products are of actual garden art displayed at the well-known West Seattle Ducky Reserve (our home) in West Seattle, Washington. The ducky characters we create get to entertain our friends, neighbors, and visitors, and, then, they get to be part of fine art prints, calendars, t-shirts, and greeting cards. How ducky is that? Visitors to our Ducky Reserve have been enjoying the ducky stylings for many years. In August of 2008, we decided to start sharing them with the world. After all, the world would be a better place if duckies ruled.
All of the duckies at DuckiesRule.com are known as Lulu Duckies. Do you know what that means? Lulu? For educational purposes, you are going to have to look that one up... but, I assure you, it is special. One place you can read more about Lulu Duckies is at our blog, A Ducky World. Some of the Lulu Duckies have names. For instance, the king and queen of the Duckies Rule! Kingdom are officially known as King Lucky and Queen Lulu. If you travel through this ducky world very much, you will also discover Mr. and Ms. Ducky Claus, Rudy the Red-Faced Reindeer, the Ducky Dears, Snow Ducky, Ice Dancer, Prince and Princess Christmas, the Treeheads, Mr. and Ms. Peace Angel, Diana, Davey, Henry, Condoleeza, Witchy, Ducky Demento, and the Pumpkinheads, among others, Yes, we will be issuing trading cards in the not-too-distant future. Stay tuned! -- Thank you for visiting. Best wishes! Ron Sterling
